Why:
This is one of my favorite games and was on my want list before I was even collecting arcade games. When I was younger my parents took my sister Kathy and I on a cross country trip across the US. It was a great time and one of the best parts was we stayed at KOA campgrounds. Each Campground had and arcade and was always a focal point of our visits.

I dragged my dad into the Arcade one day and he heard those famous words from across the Arcade.... "Body Blow!!" "Uppercut!!" He looked at me and said, "Hey Chris ever played this one?" Well I hadn't but the fact that he was showing interest in a game was more than enough reason for me to pop in a quarter and give it a try. I couldn't even beat Glass Joe at the time but my Dad was all smiles so it soon became a favorite of mine. Every time we went to an Arcade after that we looked for a Punch Out.

When I first started collecting he would ask about every other month if I had a Punch Out. I told him it was on the list for sure but I was looking for a MINT one.

I love this game, it brings back wonderful memories of out great trip and still makes my dad smile to this day. I just hope that my daughters first words aren't "Uppercut!" Then again, maybe I do.....
